Air Purification System
vs.
Home Air Filtration
|
One of the larger issues for people
looking to purchase a air purifier for their home or office is
the difference between home air purification and home air filtration.
A simple breakdown looks a like this.
Air filtration systems typically used a high porous filter called
a HEPA filter to capture dust.
The HEPA filter is extremely efficient at capturing indoor air
pollutants even as small as .03ppm.
But from there its gets a bit sticky for the
average consumer. Maintenance and expense as well as noise are
big points here.
HEPA filters are costly and must be replaced regularly to keep
the unit working properly. Factor in the the amount of energy
it takes to pull the air of an entire room through a filter over
and over again makes a home air filtration system quite a substantial
investment. Some HEPA air purifier companies advertise the units
to have a blanket of white noise to calm sleeping babies to mask
the amount of noise the units can make. A statement to the amount
of noise you can expect. (But for anyone with a newborn or colicky
baby that may be a good reason to buy one despite the air cleaning
capacities!)
Another issue is that the filter does apsolutely nothing
to destroy indoor air pollutants like bacteria or viruses,
It can only filter them out. For that reason the filter can also
become a breeding ground for bacteria. To remedy that problem
some manufacturers include a UV light placed next to the filter
to kill the trapped germs. A good solution, but one that adds
to the maintenance and cost since UV bulbs generally last 8 or
9 months tops.
Contrastly a Home Air Purification System will not filter
out or capture indoor air contaminants but will remove them completely
through different methods like ionization, UV sterilization, and
ozone oxidation.
Ionizers generally work by negatively charged plates that collect
positive ions( air contaminants). The drawbacks are that the plates
must be cleaned often and are only effective in small areas.
UV air purification units rely on ultraviolet light to destroy
airborne microbes. But since UV is only effective in close range
(4 to 6 inches) it also only works well in smaller areas. A yearly
replacement of the lamp is also a concern.
Lastly ozone air purification systems use ozone gas to destroy
indoor air pollution. The main issue involved is the safety of
ozone in confined areas. Even though ozone is effective at oxidizing
airborne viruses and bacteria, at too high of levels it can also
oxidize the tissue of your lungs. That kind of defeats the purpose.
There is an alliterative you might not have heard of yet. It’s
called AHPCO. This air purification system uses low ozone in concert
with UV, moisture and a nano-catalyst to emulate the earths natural
capacity to clean its own air.
Since AHPCO technology is more a air purification delivery system
than a filtration system, one unit can cover up to 3000 sq. ft.
The only maintenance involved is the replacement of the AHPCO
cell once only every 3 years. Ozone levels never amount to over
.02 ppm and that is directly over the air purifier.

The
induct unit I purchased has literally been a life saver for me.
I would wake up in the middle of the night with my nasal passages
swollen to bleeding, gasping for air. It's hard to have an open
window when it's 15 degrees outside.
How do I get a discount password or coupon number so I can get a
3000 Xtreme to take to work to impress others with how well they
work?
Thank You for your wonderful product !!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

| I
have to admit I was skeptical when I ordered the
Air Oasis! air purifier. I had been suffering with allergy
type symptoms when I would go to bed for almost a year and a month
ago reached my breaking point with the annoying cough and scratchy
throat. Throughout that year I have been researching the
different home units available and was not impressed with any
of them but decided that I would have to make the big purchase
and just try one.
As fate would have it, the day I was doing my final comparison
analysis I stumbled across the Air Oasis! 3000. What sold
me was the inclusion of actual percent reduction test results
for the different air pollutants typically found in houses.
Also, providing air testing kits to validate your product in the
consumer 's residence is definitely putting your money where your
mouth is
I will be ordering another unit for the first floor of my house.
Likewise, I will be highly recommending your unit to friends and
family.
Thanks for the restful nights.
